Getting there from Skye |
From Skye (by ferry) — At the Kyleakin end of Breakish, take the unclassified single track road opposite the airstrip.
(Note ferry symbol on the roadsign.) Follow the road to its end and cross over Kyle Rhea on the privately owned ferry (summer only).
When you reach the first junction turn left. (Alteratively, turn right and explore the route down to Arnisdale
before driving over Bealach/Mam Ratagan.)Via Glen Shiel — At the foot of Glen Sheil take the unclassified sngle track road signposted to Glenelg and drive over Mam Ratagan. (If desitred you can contiue down to Loch Hourn and Arnisdale and return to Skye on the Kylerhea ferry.) |
